Such a helpful checklist, Rebecca! As someone UK-based too, I definitely agree about always packing waterproofs! I'd also suggest checking sunset times...especially during autumn and winter. Do you have any favourite family-friendly UK trails?

Whoa! All that it takes to prep and run a ultra. I’m amazed. Way to go. Hubby and I did a half marathon in Jamaica a long long time ago. Training for that was very different from walking that in Jamaica. So many blisters. But we did it even though we ended up last. ha ha
